Breakfast Chef – The Hare & Hounds, Bath 

The Hare & Hounds, Bath is looking to recruit a weekend breakfast chef to join our exciting kitchen team.

The position is for two days a week (Saturday and Sunday), 8am until 4pm.

As breakfast chef, you will be seeing in deliveries and putting them away, setting up and serving a simple breakfast menu, then closing down your section and ensuring you have done your prep for the following day. Following this, you will be expected to help the kitchen team with other general prep work and assist in the lunch service preparing desserts.

Salary:

£8.00 per hour plus gratuities.

Tasks and responsibilities 

  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the Head Chef’s directions. 
  • Minimise wastage through proper stock control and menu development 
  • Ensure that you manage your section to a high standard 
  • Develop an understanding of how all EHO documentation is correctly collated and recorded, and that all EHO documentation is correctly recorded and collated 
  • Check all incoming deliveries to verify correct items are delivered. 

 

Skills and experience  

  • You will already be a cooking in a busy kitchen, capable of mutli tasking under pressure.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism & passion. 
  • Strong time management – work effectively within given time frame to finish tasks set
